Very Good - Title with printer's woodcut device and early ownership inscriptions 'Di Mare Antomoe ...' (inked through) and 'S. Caroli Padue P.P. Reformasons', with old paper label to lower margin bearing manuscript number '263' (leaf with fine ink fleck spots and few splash marks), few woodcut initials, printer's name to colophon, 18th-century vellum-backed limp boards with manuscript title and paper label to spine.
The volume has continuous pagination with signature KK omitted. The work includes three speeches by Girolamo Ruscelli (1500-1566) which attacked the scholar and author Ludovico Dolce (1508/1510-1568), the second of which was a specific attack on the Osservationi.
